Progressive in equal opportunity employment, Col was the first to hire female barbers in Brisbane with the opening of Toombul and further Brisbane City locations.

Opening of Indooroopilly in largest Shopping Centre in Southern Hemisphere.

Tony Lordi commences his apprenticeship in the family business, continuing along with the family tradition. Col Nayler passes, and the stores split between his wife and then business partner, Jack Connelly, taking 2 each.

Rick Chiarelli commenced his apprenticeship with Tony at T&T Barber Shop, Toowong. Tony opens TMH with 30 salons across Brisbane, building a strong reputation in the industry.

Rick approached Tony re setting up a barber shop independent of his current brand. They wanted something that would be at the forefront of men’s grooming that had a reputation for quality. Thus, after approaching Jack Connelly, the passion the boys showed, allowed him to feel confident that they would continue on the legacy that he & Col had developed bringing the brand back to life.

Purchased Indooroopilly Level 2 & renovated and opened stores at New Farm, Queens Plaza, and Newmarket.

Expansion continues with the opening of Myer Centre and Carindale and second stores at Indooroopilly and Chermside. Due to the success of the brand and its large growth, 2018 saw the purchase of our brand new Head Quarters consisting of Training room, Board room and our own warehouse.
